| Yummy Halloween Chili |
More housework and cooking today, nothing exciting at all. Made Halloween Chili and cornbread as is the tradition in our house, sent #3 the recipe (he loses it EVERY year!) so he's making his own away at school, i really miss him and hope he'll be able to make it home for Thanksgiving, unfortunately he works in a grocery store so he may not be able to get time off around a "food" holiday.
Joy, joy, the ice maker was making this horrible loud noise this morning, it finally stopped but when it did it the freezer also stopped cooling. Sir worked on it when he got home and it seems to be working now but i moved everything to the spare refrigerator in the basement just to be sure. Sir is sending me to the store to pick out a new one tomorrow, this one is 12 years old, we bought it when we remodelled the kitchen when we moved in so i really hate to spend money repairing it.
It's Halloween!!!! Took an early shower so i would be ready for the kids! We don't get a lot of kids, we are at the bottom of a cul-de-sac but we get the neighborhood kids and it's always fun to see their costumes. i've already gotten the texted costume pics from my sister (she dresses up her dogs!) so now it's just waiting for dark.
Sir is letting me sleep with Him tonight, i LOVE that! So, with that i'm off to give out candy! I'll take pics of any really awesome costumes.
