“Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.”~~Bruce Lee
i love that quote but it seems incomplete, what about when it ends...
We're home with #4 and what appears to be the flu, joy o joy! Back to the real world, laundry, lunches and preparing for Thanksgiving. Yes, we do all the holidays here so i need to get my head in the right place. i had a really difficult time last year, hit drop right on Thanksgiving....i'm hoping not to repeat that!
My back is feeling good, a little itchy earlier so Sir put lotion on it. i've gotten almost everything unpacked so i should be able to do my shopping tomorrow and have Tuesday and Wednesday to clean and decorate the house and do the "pre" cooking (making the pies and stuffing), the turkey is already thawing so i'm right on schedule.
i'm off to a hot shower and bed, i'll have #4 home with me tomorrow but he's a big boy and doesn't need too much hand holding :).
Sleep tight everyone!
i'm quite sure my turkey will turn out this beautiful! |
