It's Raining Babies.....

Tonight I am dealing with my half brother, he is the product of my father, who left my mother to marry a woman who had played every heartstrings she could have on him.

Many years later, they have a son, a son that they neglected for years, put on heavy duty meds so they didn't need to take care of him and now he is the biggest freaking mess.  He had a baby with his first girlfriend, had a baby with is second girlfriend (that he has now been told isn't his child at all) and he now has impregnated his third girlfriend, she has just recently left him and told him that this baby isn't his a tall.  WOW, can anyone say that this whole group of people are FUCKED up?????  I have had 4 boys, not one of them has impregnated their significant other, not even the ones who are married.  Might I add that he is on disability for being a total fuck up, should he procreate?  NO, NOT ever!

A Holiday Full House

Christmas was awesome!  #2 and his wife came in, we picked up the grandson on the day after Christmas and having a house full of out of town folks was the best!  I was lucky enough to spend hours with the daughter in law when we drove down to pick up the grandson, I adore her like you wouldn't expect!

Christmas went well, lots of food, fun and gift giving.  The grandson insisted on sleeping with me (with the "great wall of China" between us, it's a full length body pillow because he is a kicker)

We had the grandpuppies with us and all went well.

Sir pulled me into correction a few times, times when he knew things were getting out of control with me and I needed to focus, I love that man SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!

Ramping Up to Christmas!

Way too long since I have updated and i will try to update at least once a week.

Things are insane here, we have been working on a total remodel on the master bath (my bathroom) getting close to finishing it up, just a couple of small things and waiting until my sister can help me to replace the ceramic flooring in the bath, most of the bath is two 7+' closets that have hardwood flooring so we are well on the way.  The weather is certainly not cooperating, we've had horrible ice and some snow over the last couple of days.

Tomorrow Sir and our youngest are going to pick up firewood, as much as I hate them being out in sub 0 weather it's the last piece into getting ready for #2 and #2.5 to arrive on Christmas Eve, #2.75 we pick up on the 26th.  #1, #3, and #3 are all local so we'll definitely see them....totally psyched!

Now, must go....it's after 1:30 in the AM and I'm whooped.

Making Everyone Play Nice

So.....not posting as often as I have in the past....might be because my life isn't nearly as exciting as before.  

The kids (second son and his wife) have sold their house in St. Louis, bought a new one in Oklahoma City, they are currently in corporate housing until they close.  We're starting to hammer out the details of the grandson's visit, it seems like it will be many hours on the road.

I'm having dinner with the DIL (daughter-in-law of my first son) tomorrow night, we've had a very rocky couple of months, I'm hoping to smooth things over before my son's b-day party on Saturday night...not sure I can do it, she seems to have an agenda that runs parallel to our family's values.  I hope we can work it out, the divide has been long and hard (more than 6 months) but at least we have maintained a relationship with our son through this, I just need everyone to play nice!

Off to bed I go.....I hope everyone is well!

My Heart is Breaking!

I'm trying so hard not to be sad.  When our #2 son graduated from college last year with his two degrees (Math and Computer Science) we knew there was the possibility of him moving.  He's worked since graduation here in St. Louis with his older brother....unfortunately he has not gotten the opportunities with the company that he interned with.  He has applied to and received an offer from a HUGE aerospace company in Oklahoma City, OK.  There is basically no way that he can turn down this opportunity, they are almost doubling his salary and offering him an opportunity to work in an environment that is amazing.

They are putting their house on the market tomorrow and will be moving soon.  My heart has broken!  Not only will he be moving but his wife, their dogs and more importantly....my daughter-in-law's son will all be relocating.  I'm trying so hard to show a strong face but my heart is broken....guess this means I will be doing a lot of driving!

Ugh....still puppy training!

The last couple of days have been divine....I have been even more in tune to Sir, is that even possible?  We are working together to train the puppy, Sammy by name but we have started calling him Lucifer, he seems to like the new name!

We took both pups to have their nails done, yay, they both were awesome at the groomer and he even commented on their good behavior!

Now i am headed to bed, i hope everyone is doing well!

Ugh, The Dentist Again!

Today was a dentist day, yuck!  My claustrophobia makes the dentist extremely difficult.  Fortunately i have a great dentist who works with me, i wear a blindfold (yes, the leather one from the dungeon) and my Beats noise cancelling headphones, the dentist and technician just push my head around as needed and only talk to me if they really need to.  i listen to my dungeon playlist and try to meditate.  Strangely, the tech told me today that I have an awesome playlist, apparently she could hear it.

Sir was home today, normally he would be in the office on Thursday but they were blowing up a bridge across the river that he needs to cross and he didn't want to get stuck on the wrong side.  Dinner tonight is a salad with roasted chicken...hope he likes it!

Sir Bought Me A Puppy

Seems a lot of time has passed and i haven't been on here...i needed to make some major changes in my life, stuff i was holding on to that were just not healthy for me...i made the changes and i think i'm in a better place for it.  

Sir and i are still strong, our M/s relationship is evolving, i like to think that it's because we are both comfortable in our positions....i don't need to be told what i need to do, i just know it and because i want to make life as easy as possible for him it just flows.  i think the fact that we are back to being "empty nesters" again and that he is working from home 3 days a week also makes it a smooth home life.

Now to the fun news....Sir got me a puppy!  He's driving me insane with his puppy antics but i absolutely adore him!  His name is Samuel L, and we call him Sammy.  In this pic he is 4 months old.

Well, tomorrow is Sir's b-day (yep, he is a Valentine's baby) so we're taking him out for pizza.  All the kids will be there except #4 who is still out of town at school.  So, gotta run, I hope everyone is having a great weekend and that you all have someone to love for Valentine's Day!

The "Little Man" and Our Honeymoon!

This week is going to be insane.  The grandson arrives tonight and since I am his primary caregiver while he is here I'll be plenty busy with him, don't get me wrong......I love that little guy to pieces but I have soooooo many things to do!

We're leaving on Thursday for Costa Rica, a 17 day trip, I'm calling this our honeymoon, we never had one and we'll be at a resort when we celebrate our 31st anniversary on October 22nd, so in my mind.....same thing!

I'll update with pics as I'm able, I know our internet will be sparse (we are staying in treehouses for a couple of nights http://www.fincabellavista.com/)!

Trying to Catch Up

Wow, has it really been that long since I updated?????  In all seriousness....I have had a shit ton of things going on that

I just wasn't ready to share, I'm still not.....but I do need to get back to it!

Sir and i have been withdrawing from a lot of the lifestyle events locally, just need to step back, and reevaluate what groups we want to continue with and which are not really healthy for us.  That isn't to say that those groups aren't right for the people in them, just that they don't really fit for us.  We used to be ok with ignoring some of the things that the group stood for but not so much any more.  We still have plenty of lifestyle friends and things that we can attend, we have our own dungeon so we don't need an event to play so now we are just being more selective with our time, and spending way more time with the family which is a definite plus!

Our kitchen was finished in time for Thanksgiving and the rest of the holidays.....yay!  Sir did an amazing job on it.

Tomorrow is my day to check on remissiva's house and pick up her mail, brrrrr it is so cold that i am dreading it!

Kitchen Nightmares

Life has been insane...we have been without a kitchen almost 4 months now.  Seems everything we do requires the kitchen or laundry room, we've cooked on the gas grill out back, the electric hot plate, the pizza oven or the microwave but the more difficult part is cleaning up.  Sir installed a utility sink in the basement but it is just so hard.

Sir worked like a crazed man today hanging drywall and got about a third of it up.  I went to WhipNic, usually it's better if i'm out of the way, lol.  i know i've made this more difficult with all the additions i keep throwing out there but we won't be down to the studs again and it just seems to make sense to do it now.

Today was waxing day, Sir has been working from home three days a week, i try very hard not to distract him, the savings in gas, travel time and dry cleaning are really nice.  Tomorrow is one of his days in the office but remissiva and i are going to the construction warehouse to look at some additional cabinetry so i won't be here anyway.

Play has been almost non existent, between #3 living with us and Sir trying to put in as much time in the kitchen there just isn't any left.  As much as i hate that. i would hate to be still renovating the kitchen on Thanksgiving, trade off i guess.

Ok, off to find something to eat quell this ongoing nausea!

Tough Weekend

This weekend is already shaping up to be a tough one.  While i was over at remissiva's house doing laundry (and enjoying an awesome Mexican lunch!) Sir called to let me know that our neighbor's house was on fire, thankfully they all got out safely but it brings back into focus that this entire subdivision is wired with aluminum wiring and it could happen to any of us.  Sir has rewired every room that we have remodeled but still a scary prospect.

Then we went with our daughter-in-law to pick up a Craig's List sofa and helped to move her out of our son's house, they had decided to separate a while back but had continued to share the house to save money.  i'm not comfortable with the apartment complex she chose but i know her income is limited and she is going back to school.  Any way around it was a very emotional day.  i was so unable to sleep, i went out back and Sir found me the perfect spot to draw down the moon, being short it is always a challenge, the spot is perfect, i can see and the neighbors can't see me!  Thankfully this weekend is a quiet one in our group because i don't know how much more i could handle!.

Sorry for the huge gap in time on postings, we're almost half way through the first floor remodel and i've been trying to be as helpful as i can at getting it done....when i'm not working on it i'm figuring out how we can live without a kitchen, breakfast room and laundry (thank you soooooo much remissiva, she has been my lifeline for laundry, it's awesome, we do a load, run and shop, come back and change a load, hit a restaurant for lunch, and then back to do a few more loads, lol, it's awesome!)

Sir took off for the 5 day weekend, tonight he is hooking up a utility sink in the basement so i can wash dishes, then it will be back to the new subfloor in the construction area.  Tomorrow some of the kids will be here for bbq with remissiva, we're going to color my hair and then we can watch fireworks from the deck.  Saturday is Wolf's private party, we've missed the last two months due to family obligations, i can't wait to get back to it....missing my Lady!

#3 is heading back to school to finish cleaning out his apartment and to "hang with the ladies" (his words) which will give us a couple of different opportunities to play, i REALLY need it!

Busy Pre Weekend Prep!

Yesterday was insanely busy....breakfast out, then we shopped for statuary (i want a big gargoyle for my pond area) then waxing and then off to the piercer.  ss had decided she wanted a piercing to match mine....i brought my nipple jewelry along and she talked me into getting mine redone...pic below, bonus, a pic of my newer daily collar.

For dinner we met up with our South County Munch and had some pretty good food and live dance music.  Sir exacted his punishment for me not asking before the re-piercing but very much worth it, lol.

Today we're working on the kitchen (big surprise) and i really need to get back to it!

Construction Progress

Not a lot to say tonight, my best bud ss allowed me to do 7 loads of laundry at her house today as it seems the construction is going to be an ongoing issue.

We also had lunch at a local church that captures my heritage, i was born in a half Lebanese family, we had wonderful food from my heritage....always a good time, we also visited a really awesome store with the most interesting  stuff, i'm still considering the gargoyle statue!

Obviously not as much progress as i would like, lol.  But he does have most of the new wiring in place, we still need him to place the lighting over the breakfast bar as that is where i normally have my laptop.

Sir has taken tomorrow and Friday off from work to proceed with the project, i will check in as needed.....the good news is that #3 is working at noonish tomorrow....playtime?????? Maybe!

Seriously.......REALLY, i'd die for my boys

Sir just gave me a pair of Dr. Dre  noise cancelling headphones, i have played with them in the past and totally love them....absolutely no idea what will happen next.....AWESOME!   Wearing them now as i blog and getting totally turned on!

Lots still going on at the house, the kitchen, breakfast room and laundry room are still gutted, i am struggling to pull it together, my most strong trigger is things being out of place or having a claustrophobic situation..... not doing well at all!  Sir is tiring to help me through but it's not an optimal situation.  

My best bud is thinking about a body mod, it might it be what i need right now to put me back into the right place, for me it would be re-piercing my nipples, i had to take them out a while back because the were migrating out.....that isn't the mod she is looking for, it is actually one that i have had for about 8 years, i have found it to be an excellent mod......i would never discourage anyone from getting it.  Still no ready for another tatt.....gotta find one that would be something that i would consider worthy.......

Happy Father's Day, here is a rare picture of my Sir and 3 of our 4 sons.  We held our annual BBQ at #1 and his wife's house since we are under construction.

The last two days have been very stressful, we've had a brand new fawn who is clinging to our house and we were worried that her mother had abandoned her, talked with a conservation officer this morning and they assure me that she is fine and that this is normal....it is stressing me out!

With that i'm out, gotta go measure the lighting fixtures he is placing in the kitchen.
