i have a very busy evening and night planned so i'm going to do my journal entry early.  


In keeping with last night's theme of moving on i have a very full kinky weekend planned.  We're meeting lifestyle friends for dinner and then we're headed to the bar to listen to a friend's band play, it should be a good time, these friends are really easy going and we have a lot in common with them, the entire group is just a lot of fun to be with.


Saturday night we have a meeting for the private lifestyle group we belong to followed by a social.  After the social we have an education night, the topic is:


Care and Feeding of the submissive


Care and Feeding is a Holistic "Whole Person" approach to What It Is We Do; that stems from a perspective of responsibility rather than one of entitlement.  Topics we touch on are pragmatism in conjunction with a 24/7 D/s life (as opposed to a life STYLE); integration of Leather into the "real world"/ the importance of negotiation and communication, and occasional bursts of heresy.  This class started as a 100 level class, and has evolved into a "graduate seminar" on relationship dynamics and communication.  Come with questions.  We'll find the answers together.


The presenter is excellent and i'm really looking forward to the class.  And, of course, after the class it's dungeon time!  This private group is great and i feel very lucky to have found them.

So, self pity is gone, it seems we meet new people every time we get together with this group, and that's just another opportunity to grow!  And growth is what i need, i've spent too much time just withering online...i need real life people to interact with.  i'm psyched and ready!!!
