It is What It Is

My favorite saying is "It is what it is", today a twitter friend (thank you Rose!) turned me onto a song by Lifehouse called It is What It Is...(Youtube link)





Urban Dictionary says:

It is what it is

A cliche, popular within the circles of coaches, business execs, and those of us who just want to say "It's happened. 'I'm going to forget about it. I'm going to move on. There is nothing that can be done about it."

That pretty much summarizes the quote for me, but i also think of it as, i don't want to play games, if i say it, i mean it, and i certainly hope you mean it too.
