Journal - Thursday

Well, Sir was a whirlwind of activity today, cleaned the gutters, raked the yard and cleaned the garage.  i know He is starting to stress the job situation, i'm still convinced that something will come through any day now, He's very good at what He does and He's a hard worker...it's just a matter of time.




i canned!  My New Year's Goals included learning a new skill each month, i thought i'd start with canning.  i now have 7 quarts of canned salsa!  The jars sealed but i haven't tasted the final product as of yet, fingers crossed!  That's one thing i can cross off my list for 2012!






So tomorrow #4 has school then work...we'll have the house to ourselves...whatever will we do with the time....hopefully Sir has His honey-do list pared down so we can have some fun!

    As I was browsing on Amazon at first, I saw a home canning guide for free on the kindle http://www.amazon.com/JeBouffe-Canning-Revised-Expanded-ebook/dp/B0057H14KG/ref=pd_sim_kinc_66?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2 and thought of you. It is just that when I start to do something, I tend to look and gather any and all free resources I can find on what I am about to start on.

    If it is helpful, great. If not, then sorry about the not so useful recommendation. Either way, the salsa looks yummy! I'm going to head over to the kitchen to look for some chips and salsa now.
