Kinky Community Center

Last night was our private group's big meeting.  Our group has been growing very steadily over the last couple of years and we have outgrown our meeting/playspace.  We have a converted four family flat in a residential area, it's very old, probably close to 100 years and it is very choppy inside (your basic "shotgun" style flat).  We've been looking for a new space but based on what we are paying now we have been unable to find anything that would work.  

Our Executive and Management Boards presented a new proposal last night.  We would create a new not for profit corporation and rent a large space.  Our group would lease an area about 3,000 sq ft as our private area and then rent out the rest of the space to other groups to make up the difference in rent, a "Kinky Community Center".  Apparently there are several groups in town that are really having a difficult time finding a place to meet.  There was a lot of positive feedback from the attendees (about 35% of our membership was there) now this isn't something that will happen overnight, probably at least a year down the line, but still progress!

The day was spent just trying to get caught up, breathing still takes some effort so everything takes forever.  i did finish the laundry, got #4 to work, picked up a few groceries and cooked dinner.  Now i'm about to cuddle up and watch a bit of TV with Sir.
