Busy Weekend in Review Blog Update

Don't you just love to hear this?

Dinner out last night was a riot, some of our most favorite lifestyle friends all together, we left went to set-up for FLOG.  This month's crowd at FLOG was great, there was a really good vibe about the night.  We sat with the anniversary couple, Sir Michael and suzi, and a couple of other friends.  Toward the end of the night i was talking with suzanne about their 7 year relationship, she mentioned that he told her early on that he would never marry again, so they have been a D/s couple, living together for the last 7 years.  Jumped onto Fet this morning and......the big night in the hotel produced.....a marriage proposal, how awesome is that!!!!

We went to the playspace this afternoon and they were there, she was glowing and hugs were exchanged all over!  It was a really small group at the playspace but sometimes that's the most fun, it was kind of our core group, we're all really good friends so the time just flew by.

Also talked with the President of our local group and it seems that we've found a new playspace!  He's still working out the "kinks" before presenting it to the group but he says it looks like it will be a go.  From what i can gather it is in a warehouse, all first floor, no stairs or elevators, lots of parking (something we are lacking right now) has a loading dock, which would be awesome since we move the equipment to the hotel twice a year for our big events.  Fingers crossed that it works out!  The best thing about our private playspace is that because it is private the rules are much more lax, fluid bound partners are allowed pretty much free reign in what they can do, our more public play party is much more restricted, nipples covered, thong minimum, no wax or medical play allowed.  At our private space we have a room dedicated to fire, one to medical, one to wax play, and several more just set up for regular play and includes 2 full baths. And, of course, the first floor is set up for social and we have a full kitchen for food.

Talked with Sir Robert about maybe taking a trip to Chicago in October for Kinky Kollege, if you've not heard of it follow the link, it's HUGE.  Not sure it will pan out because it is a month before Spanksgiving and that's a lot of money in just one month :( but we'll see!
