Busy, Busy Friday

As always Friday was busy....i woke up to ss calling me to wake me up and let her in, she was here to run errands with me.  i jumped into the shower, because seriously, i was seeing the GYN and last night's shower just wasn't enough!  We ran down to the lab and got my fasting labs done, stopped for breakfast and then off to the GYN.  i love my GYN doc, he did his exam, as always, not commenting on the piercings, reviewed my mammogram, which was normal, did my STD and PAP exam and prescribed hormones for my menopausal symptoms...yes, this makes me sad...but unfortunately the homoeopathic remedies that i was trying weren't working and i've been miserable.  i stopped and had yet more labs done on the way out (these were part of the STD panel) i should hear on Monday and although i don't expect anything to turn up i'll be glad to have it over with and i'll have a valid health certificate for any or my partners.


i did my grocery shopping and came home to deal with the insurance companies once again...the hospital called to let me know that i would be expected to pay the first $700 of my CAT scan on Monday so i just cancelled the test, i'll deal with that later.  The medication issues for #4 are being resolved so i'll wait to deal with that.


This afternoon #1 called to ask what we were doing for dinner so we met up with him (and included #4) and had dinner, he came over after and we had a nice long family chat...i truly am the luckiest mother alive!


Tomorrow afternoon we are attending a private party and bbq, i'm hoping the heat breaks....not really expecting it to but it would be nice.  ss is riding with us as the party is about an hour away...they have a dungeon but i know we won't be playing so it will just be a fun social event.

Oh, and these are the boots that ss picked up for me this afternoon....are these not HOT????

i'd really love to play tonight but i just don't think it is in the cards....so i'll leave you with this super hot pic!
