Dusting Off the Word Processing Skills!

Yet another boring day in morgaineville...with a twist.  My sister contacted me this morning to see if i would rework a resume for a friend of hers...i've done this for a lot of people so i said sure....she then sent me a cell phone picture of probably the worst resume i have ever seen!  The first line reads that she has 28 years of experience and then there is only one job listed that lasted for the last 5 years.  So i called her and explained that you can't claim experience without some corroborating information.  She directed me to an online resume that she had on a job site....a bit better but still a ton of duplicate information and the formatting was so bad that it was difficult to read.  Honestly, when i was hiring if this resume crossed my desk i wouldn't have bothered to read it.  Obviously this is happening to her too, she's been out of work since January.  Anyway, it's almost finished now.  i hope it works for her, it's tough to work on a resume when you have no knowledge of the field.

Today was weigh day.....and i've lost another 2 pounds, yay!  i'm sure i'll be very bad this weekend since we have two parties to go to but still, slow and steady....right?

i don't think i've mentioned yet that our private group is having a Masquerade Ball featuring Mollena and Lee Harrington on November 2nd.  I have a little black dress to wear and "a" is sending me an awesome mask (the one above isn't the one, that's just a grab from Google)  i still need to pick up some really awesome clothes for Sir.
