Waxing and a Wake

So today has been a roller coaster ride, first waxing, i love my waxer but unfortunately she is not near by and i freaking hate driving....but still not bad over all.

The afternoon was the wake for the wife of my friend.  She committed suicide by jumping off a parking garage, certainly not subtle.  Honestly i haven't seen Tony in a long time but since we lived next door to each other for 18 years i really felt the need to at least attend and offer my condolences.  i went with my sister who is actually the same age as Tony, i'm a couple years older.  It was horrible, we walked in and Tony introduced us to his two youngest children, a girl 8 and a boy 6 who were crying their eyes out for their mother, of course, seeing that i was sobbing very fast.  Jill and i met up with Tony's mother, it was kinda funny, she recognized Jill right away (she has red hair) and after about 5 minutes talking to Jill she turned to me and said "I don't think I know you?"  i told her who i was and her response was "You're so pretty!" WTF....anyway we didn't stay long, there were plenty of people and my philosophy on wakes is in, express your condolences and move on, the poor family has so much to deal with.

So, now i'm home, took a nice bubble bath to remove the extra wax from earlier and i'm getting ready to settle in and watch a  little Adam Levine on the Voice followed by.....Sons of Anarchy, yay!

Have a great night all!
