Holiday Drama, lol

So i've recently written how drama free i am, and i know i've written about how drama free my family is.  When we all get together it's fun, peaceful and even the daughters-in-law just meld right into the family, they're comfortable here and we're very comfortable with them.  Sooooooo......

Today i got up early to start working on Thanksgiving dinner stuff, i have a good jump on it, pies are baked, sweet potatoes are prepped, turkey is cleaned and ready to go into the oven, both types of stuffing (one with meat the other without) are finished, so i'm feeling pretty good and bam, get a text from #1 that he is at the doctor and they are going to do a CAT scan to rule out an appendicitis, really???  The day before Thanksgiving????  So, i jumped in the shower and got dressed (yes, i was still in my pajamas, lol) and now i'm waiting to hear the results and whether or not he'll be having surgery.  Yes, i know this is not the type of drama you can control, it certainly isn't as though he planned it....but still.....
