The Grandson Is In Town!!!

The Grandson might not be ours by blood but he is certainly CHOSEN family!

That probably doesn't sound like a big deal to some folks but our grandson is the son of #2.5 from a previous relationship and lives 8 hours away with his paternal grandparents.  We only get to see him a couple times a year and having him here last night was awesome!  Watching a child rip through wrapping paper and eyeing his gifts with wide eyes and smiles.....we haven't had that in a long time (since #4 is 18 now!) He was crazy about the remote controlled truck we bought him and the Kindle Fire he got from #2 and #2.5.   i cooked him his favorite meal (chicken nuggets  french fries and fresh green beans) and loaded him up with cookies, cupcakes and candy galore...i'm sure my DIL could kill me about now!

Two days ago my nipple piercings were bugging me so i decided to take them out and give the jewelry a good cleaning overnight, now, it's been 2 years exactly (12/28/2010) since i had them pierced....the next morning i wasn't able to get them back in, UGH!  So today, after taking ss to the doctor we went back down to the piercer and had him put them back in, i swear that hurt much worse than the original piercing!  Of course we chatted the whole time, and he was very impressed with my needle corset which helped to keep me distracted but eventually i just slipped into my "space" and then it was over..  i love Stan down at Cheap Trx and consider myself very luck to have him as my piercer.  i just sent him a messaging thanking him and told him they were NEVER coming out again, lol.  We stopped by ss's apartment to pick up my Christmas Gift (truly more of a Yule Gift!)  Picture below....it's an awesome stone pyramid with star and moon cutouts so that when you place it over a candle it throws off awesome images.

The second part of our Christmas gift to each other was installed today, we have new gutters!  From what i could see when i arrived home they are very pretty, much less impressive than the 50" HD TV that we bought a couple weeks ago...but being a homeowner means buying unimpressive things like gutters.

Tonight will be quiet,  Sir is picking up a Red Box movie, Man on a Ledge.  Tomorrow night is thea's holiday party...always a good time and then Monday is Wolf's NYE party, we're meeting Sir Robert and sherry for drinks before the party so we'll be pretty busy this weekend, plus of course more time for the Grandson.
