Father's Day

Happy to say that we did play on Thursday night but unfortunately it was one of those times where our needs didn't match up.  After a really intense scene the best release i can get is a good old fashioned cry...unfortunately Sir hates those scenes.  He says that his protective instincts kick in and that even the most wonderful of aftercare doesn't work for him.

Some happy news....the pond is almost finished!  Well, technically it is finished...just need to install the waterfall and add the water plants and fish...  Last night the grandson took a little swim in it and got soaking wet, what a riot!

We decided to stay home this weekend, there was a munch on Friday night and a Education Night on Saturday but we've got so much to do around the house that just staying home to relax was a nice change.

Yesterday for Father's Day we grilled, we had #2, #2.5, the grandson, and #4 here (as well as the grandpuppy).  It was nice and laid back.  Sir talked with all four of our boys and two of our old foster kids, he is much appreciated among  the fine young men that he raised!  And even more so by me...he is an incredible provider and man, we are all blessed to have him in our lives.
