This and That

First, i hope that my followers on the East Coast are ok, my thoughts are with you.


i had the best surprise last night.  As i was preparing for bed i received a text sending me to the playroom, totally wasn't expecting that!  Sir gave me a wonderful heavy impact scene, i hit space and slept like a dream last night.

So, anyone who follows me on Twitter (@mcmoonshadow) knows i've been trying to watch all the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes, #4 (that's my fourth son) wanted me to watch...there are a million episodes, well i'm finally in the last season and should finish by the end of the week.  i rarely watch tv at all, except True Blood of course, so this much tv time is about to drive me insane.

i realized today that i never gave the recap from Saturday night's Education night and playparty.  The Ed night was Dungeon Monitor training, i've taken it before but thought it would be good to sit through it again.  The playparty was pretty quiet, well, that's not exactly true, there was a lot of play but it was mostly the same people who play at every party.  There was a new couple there that i've only seen play once before, they are both switches although the male is probably a bit more submissive.  They are both artists and it comes through in their play.  They use creative materials for binding and sensation and are really fun to watch.

Ok, enough for tonight i've still got a few things to get done before bed.  i hope everyone has a wonderful evening.


Oh, and it's only 86 days until Spanksgiving...just found out Midori will be there, how awesome is that!?!?

Spanksgiving Countdown

Since i can't find a countdown gadget out here i'm just posting that it is only 87 days until Spanksgiving!  i was lucky enough to change our reservation, Sir wanted to upgrade to a suite!

So Much!

Sorry for the absence, started a couple new meds and apparently one of them doesn't agree with my stomach.  Feeling much better after stopping it, and fortunately it was not the more important of the two.


So, registration started today for our bill Fall weekend event, Spanksgiving (catchy name, huh).  i got our reservations in early, the hotel that we use to host the event only has 200 rooms and they sell out really fast.  There are back up hotels but it is so much nicer to stay in the event hotel, we have the hotel to ourselves so there are no vanilla folks in the halls, elevators, and dining areas...that means anything goes (or not!) as far as clothing.  The only real drawback to this event is that it occurs the weekend before Thanksgiving, last year i was experiencing drop and trying to get the family holiday together.  But well worth it, we always have the best classes and the dungeon each night is amazing, and who doesn't want to party with 200+ of their nearest and dearest kinky friends!  i'll write more about it as it gets closer (91 days, but who's counting!) but check out the link, maybe you'll want to come join us!

On another fun note...just got an invite to a private party that some of our closest lifestyle friends are throwing over Labor Day weekend, it's Saturday night, which just so happens to be my birthday!  i think i won't tell them that, i hate birthday attention and can you imagine the spankings!   But i think Sir is going to say we can go and i can't imagine spending my birthday with a better group!!!


So, heading off to my Buffy marathon (my youngest wanted me to watch so we can have stimulating conversation about the series).  i may jump on and post a bit more later, but i'm hoping tonight will be a play night, fingers crossed!
