Weekend Reflections

Yesterday was very emotional, it was a long day because he enrolled so late and the only time for us to do family orientation was the day of move-in.  We left the house at 5:30 am and returned home at 9:30 pm...so a very long day indeed.  i think it went well, his dorm is pretty dumpy, again because he signed up so late but after we moved everything in it looked a lot better.  We weren't able to meet his roommate because he is a sophomore and they don't move in until next weekend but fortunately #4 knows several people from high school that were there so he does at least have some friends.
Driving away was a little bit tough, this is my baby after all...but i know it is good for him....geez who would have thought that we would have 3 kids in college at the same time...fortunately #1 has his bachelors and masters and has put off his doctoral for now.

Today was WhipNic, awesome food and crowd.  We took the grandpuppy who was very well behaved and even got in some very physical play time with another dog, all around a good time.  i signed up for the submissive Odyssey, it's an annual event and always very thought provoking and informational (info below)

submissive ODYSSEY is a one day retreat for submissives/slaves (and switches who are primarily submissive) that is sponsored annually by the Metro Submissive Forum. It is an opportunity to commune with like minded people, share ideas, strengths and perhaps take home an epiphany or two. The retreat will include a variety of seminars, plenty of good food and opportunities to explore your hopes and goals as a submissive.

Registration closes at 30 attendees.

We're back home and chilling out now.  i just finished washing all the linens for #4's bed and remade it.  After the grandpuppy is picked up i'm going to go in there and do a thorough cleaning.  Sir is home tomorrow so i can get him to move heavy stuff for me.  And now i'm off to take a nap...i hate the emotional tired feeling...
