Road Trip....How About NOT!

i need to remember just how intuitive my kids are...my youngest asked today if he could take a road trip to Rhode Island to meet a friend that he has known online for about 3.5 years.  We sat down to look at the route and how long it would take...he pointed out that the route took them directly through the town where my ex lives, he said that maybe i should go with and they'd drop me off to see my "friend"...whoa, first of all, she's the ex, but of course he knows nothing of the circumstances and certainly doesn't know that she was more than a friend...how in the world he even remembers the town she lives in is beyond me...must play my cards closer to the chest as they say! Especially with the newest lady who is much more local.

i went over to help ss out today, her mother has been ill and they put in a PICC line to keep her hydrated, today was the first day she needed to do the infusion herself so i went to do it for her.  The nurse comes tomorrow and i'm not sure what she is doing about the weekend, i went through it with her but it's pretty intimidating if you aren't familiar.

Tonight we're going to go over and say goodbye to the grandson, he leaves for his home in Tennessee in the morning, i'm really going to miss the little guy, my boys need to man up and make me a grandma again!

PS:  Have fun my Austin friends, so sad i wasn't able to make it down for BASH this year :-(
